Yes, you must sign the Standard Self-Storage Agreement and pay your first month’s storage fee before you can move in your goods. You will also be required to produce a valid form of government issued ID, such as a driver’s licence or passport.

The Standard Self-Storage Agreement sets out the terms and conditions between Metro Storage and the storer and it clearly states the rights and obligations of each party.

You are allowed to store items from your household or business except for hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, perishable, environmentally harmful or explosive goods.

Yes, you need to secure your storage unit with a padlock. For convenience you can purchase one at the time of move in from Metro Storage

Yes, Metro Storage can recommend list of reliable removalists available for your convenience or take advantage of our FREE use of ute to move your goods in to storage.

Provided your storage fees are up to date, you may enter your unit as frequently as you wish at no extra cost during the hours business hours.

Your goods are not automatically insured whilst in storage as per clause 16 of the Standard Self-Storage Agreement, therefore Metro Storage strongly recommends you take insurance for your protection and peace of mind. Take a look at our insurance page for more details.
